CaseTrust for
Education
Inspire
Business School has been awarded with the CaseTrust for
Education by the Consumers Association of Singapore
(CASE).The scheme ensures that PEOs fulfilled all the
mandatory regulatory requirements for enrolling
international students. A PEO that achieves CaseTrust
for Education is certified as an organization that
possesses the foundation for good quality student
welfare and protection practices and standards. The PEO
will have the following mechanisms in place:

With
effect from 1st of May 2005, all international students
studying in PEOs will be required to enter into a CASE
Standard Student Contract with the PEO as part of the
regulations of CaseTrust for Education.
Standard
Student Contract
All PEOs
will need to prepare standard contracts to provide for
transparency for enrolling international students.
Detailed information includes course fees, start and end
date of course, and recourse in the event of the need
for fee refund. All prospective students (both local and
international) will enter into a Standard Student
Contract with our school upon confirmation on enrolment
into courses.
Student
Protection Scheme
The student
protection scheme (SPS) is compulsory for all foreign
students. Local students can choose to opt-in to this
scheme. The SPS serves to protect the international
students' tuition fees in the event the school is unable
to continue operations due to insolvency, and/or
regulatory closure. All international students studying
in our school are covered by the student protection
scheme by way of a Students Tuition Fee Account (
Escrow).
Refund
Policies
Withdrawal
by student (withdraw, transfer or change
course)
- Request for transfer / withdrawal must be made in
writing and submitted together with supporting
documents to our school.
- Students who withdraw from our school to enroll
with another school or transfer to another course
within our school shall be deemed to have withdrawn
from the course.
- Upon receiving requests from Students for
Transfer/Withdrawal from course, Students are to
surrender their Student's Pass to the school.
- Only Tuition fee and deposit will be refunded.

Termination of Course by
School
If our school
terminates the course for any reason prior to the
completion of the course, our school shall within 14
days after receiving the student¡¯s notice of withdrawal
refund to the student the entire amount of the Tuition
Fee and Deposit, and the Non-Tuition Fees or Additional
Fees
Student
Grievance Procedures
- Students feedback/ complaints are to be documented
using the Student Feedback / Complaint Form.
- The responsibility of staff to ensure Student
Feedback / Complaint are properly handled are defined
in the Student Feedback / Complaint Form to ensure
effectiveness in resolving the issues that were
raised.
- Our school will keep complainant informed of the
status of the complaint investigation.
- Initial respond to a complaint by our school
should be within 2 days upon receipt.
- Our school shall resolve complaints within a
maximum of 21 days upon receipt of the complaint. A
Feedback / Complaint Investigation Report will be
provided to the student.
- In the event that the student and our school are
unable to resolve the dispute in accordance with the
grievance procedure above, the student and our school
shall refer the dispute to the CASE Mediation Centre
for mediation prior to instituting any legal action or
proceedings.
- The student and our school hereby agree to such
procedures and to pay such fees as the CASE Mediation
Centre may prescribe from time to time for the purpose
of resolving the dispute.
Student's
Pass Application
For
International Student
The Immigration
& Checkpoints Authority of Singapore requires all
international students pursuing full time studies in
Singapore to apply for a student¡¯s pass.
Documents Required for Student¡¯s Pass
Application
- Duly completed Inspire Business School application
form
- Duly signed Student Acknowledgement form
- Duly signed Student Esrow Confirmation form
- Duly completed Immigration & Checkpoints
Authority Form 16 & V36
- Applicant¡¯s Birth Certificate (Notary certified
true copies)
- Applicant¡¯s education certificates and result
transcripts (Notary certified true copies)
- Documentary proof of financial ability in the form
of bank fixed deposit of at least SGD$30,000 for 6
months (for visa-required countries)
- Applicant¡¯s and/or parent¡¯s letter of employment
with English translation
- Applicant¡¯s 4 recent passport sized photographs
- Photocopy of applicant¡¯s valid passport
- All documents in foreign languages must be
officially translated into English and submit
together with the original language documents.
- Applicants are advised to submit applications at
least 2 months before the commencement of the
course. Incomplete forms will be returned and result
in delay in the application process.
